Participants must pass a Pre-Test* before signing up for the class. Please call (505) 828-3341 to schedule a Pre-Test.

Certifications earned upon successful completion of the class:
1) American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and First Aid
2) CPR/AED for Lifeguards
Participants must attend all sessions and score a minimum of 80% on written and practical exams to earn certification.
*Participants must be able to successfully complete a 300-yard continuous swim (100 crawl stroke, 100 breaststroke, 100 crawl/breast combined) and a timed swim in order to be eligible to take the class.

The school is deeply committed to making a positive impact on the greater Albuquerque community, the state of New Mexico, and beyond. Outreach initiatives are abundant, and community service is part of the curriculum at all grade levels.
