College Guidance Director Ralph Figueroa Participates in New York Times Blog

The Choice, a college admission advice blog, was launched on The New York Times web site last March by education reporter and blogger Jacques Steinberg. Recently Mr. Steinberg answered questions submitted by readers and called upon Ralph for input on several responses, including one on independent counselors and another on the reasons for admission denials. Mr. Steinberg is the author of The Gatekeepers: Inside the Admissions Process of a Premier College which featured Ralph during his days as an admissions officer at Wesleyan University.
