 2/15/2012 The girls team swam away with the State title for a fourth consecutive year; the boys team took second place. Anika Apostalon '13 set four state records, and Anthony Kim '16 won the 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 52.20.
The girls team swam away with the State title for a fourth consecutive year; the boys team took second place. Anika Apostalon '13 set four state records, and Anthony Kim '16 won the 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 52.20.
State records set were:
Girls 200 Yard Medley Relay comprising Anika Apostalon '13, Eileen Kawamoto '13, Lexi Davis '12, and Gillian St. John '15 - 1:46.70.
Girls 100 Yard Freestyle - Anika Apostalon - 50.40 (set during preliminaries)
Girls 100 Yard Backstroke - Anika Apostalon - 54.24
Girls 200 Yard Freestyle Medly - Anika Apostalon's opening split time was 23.01. Since she was the lead-off swimmer, this qualifies for a state record, breaking the 23.17 record set two years ago.
