About Testing
We require that all applicants take an admission exam as part of the application process. This year, we are piloting the Renaissance STAR exam for admission. This exam, which consists of multiple-choice reading and math tests, each 30 minutes long, is conducted online. You will receive detailed instructions following registration, including technology requirements (a computer with a camera and microphone), suggestions for the ideal testing environment, the materials your child will need, and more.
In order for your child to be considered for early decision, they must test no later than December 5, 2020, and for regular decision your child must test no later than January 30, 2021.
We will be administering the early decision tests during the weeks of November 16 and November 30, as well as on Saturday, December 5. For exact dates and times, visit our website calendar. Register through your Ravenna account.
If you have questions, please call the admission office at (505) 828-3208.
