The first day of the 2022-23 school year is Thursday, August 18. We will follow a Day 0 schedule. View the details here.
Pod placements, families, and schedules will be published on Monday, August 8. Additionally, family heads will be contacting students the week of August 8 to introduce themselves and answer questions about the school year.
Please join us Sunday, August 14 from 1-2 p.m. to celebrate the start of another extraordinary school year at our annual 6th Grade Ice Cream Social. There will be food, conversation, and fun for all, and our new sixth graders will have a chance to get important information about the start of school.
In addition, family heads will contact students beginning August 8 to introduce themselves and answer your questions.
We are thrilled to welcome our new Chargers to campus. The Bridge to Success Program will be held Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-noon, August 8-12.
Please plan to drop your student off at the 6-7 loop (parking lot 5) at 8 a.m. each day. We will meet your student there. Each day the students will be introduced to a different academic department and will participate in a sampling of our academic programs. Also as part of the program, we will coordinate obtaining student IDs, lockers, and daily planners. Please send them with a hat, sunscreen, and face mask every day. We will provide snacks, but lunch will not be offered. You may pick your child up from the 6-7 loop promptly at noon each day. Aftercare is not available.
School begins with convocation — welcoming sixth graders and honoring seniors — at 8 a.m. on Thursday, August 18.

Personal electronic devices must be used in a way that will not be a distraction to others. Headphones or ear buds must be used for anything involving sound. Teachers may confiscate phones and other devices if students are using them inappropriately.
During the school day, cell phones must be powered down and stored in student lockers.
In the classroom, laptops, cell phones, and other electronic devices should be closed and stowed away unless a teacher gives explicit permission for a particular use related to that day’s activity.
Students need to be aware that anything they do on an electronic device can be tracked, and anything deemed inappropriate may possibly lead to disciplinary action. Severe misuse of electronic equipment (such as going to inappropriate sites or participating in electronic bullying or harassment) could affect a student’s standing at the Academy.
Students found using technology inappropriately will be reported to the dean for appropriate consequences.
School photos for grades 6-7 are scheduled for September 13.
