CONNECT (the 10-12 community service club) is offering a virtual CPR training for students, faculty, and staff. We will review signs of a heart attack, how to perform basic compression-only CPR, the Heimlich maneuver, and more!
Heart attacks are the leading cause of death in the US, but it has been shown that performing CPR right after a heart attack can double or even triple a person’s chances of survival. If you want to learn how to potentially save the life of a loved one, please join us online! It will also be a great refresher if you’ve learned CPR in the past but want to review. If possible, have a makeshift manikin on hand for practice.
