The Albuquerque Academy mock trial team, which included only two members with national-level experience, finished seventh at nationals in May. “This is a remarkable achievement for any team,” said Coach Joaquin Sanchez.
Senior Reeya Patel was honored as an Outstanding Attorney, one of only 10 in the country. “She put on a dazzling performance in every round,” said Mr. Sanchez, “putting all five years of her experience in the program on display in a master class of adaptability and poise.”
