Take a few minutes to watch Warriors and Champions, three short videos showcasing current Academy students. These student stories, and the many others not featured here, remind us that Albuquerque Academy is an extraordinary place. Every year, the Annual Fund builds and sustains this unique experience for New Mexico students. These very special videos were produced by Kate VanDevender '95.

Donor Spotlights

“There are very few energetic ambitions in my life that I have more passion about than Albuquerque Academy. As a student, the school and faculty enriched me with knowledge and desire. As an alumnus, it has afforded a vast network of colleagues and lifelong friends that provide guidance, counsel, and support. As a parent, it has provided a catapult for my children to succeed in their lives as young adults, students, and athletes. As a volunteer parent, council member, and trustee, the Academy has provided the genuine satisfaction that our efforts thrive every day with compelling aspiration, guidance, and assurance by those individuals who hold similar devotion to this remarkable institute and community member. These are the many reasons that Albuquerque Academy propels me to lend my consistent philanthropic support.  It is with immense pride that I thank all of you who have and will support the Academy Legacy.”
Chris Buttner  '81, Parent  '17, '19
"The Academy's demanding yet caring academic setting challenges all students to actively participate in their learning. Every single Annual Fund gift and every hour of our time that we volunteer demonstrates our tremendous faith in the Academy's ability to educate our children and help them develop into good citizens who will be leaders in our society."
—Pia Salazar, Parent '16, '19

"This is an institution that lives its mission statement with 100% authenticity. I want to give back to the institution that gave me the most. Financial assistance at the Academy is the one place I'm focusing my resources to try to improve the world…as I know that Academy students from all neighborhoods will become tomorrow's healers, advocates, poets, builders, teachers, and peacemakers."
