Talia Czuchlewski has received a 2022 YoungArts award in Voice. Czuchlewski has been recognized at the Merit level, the organization’s third highest honor, joining 720 of the most accomplished young visual, literary, and preforming artists from throughout the county. YoungArts award winners gain access to one of the most comprehensive programs for artists in the United States, in which they will have opportunities for financial, creative and professional development support throughout their entire careers.
At the Academy, Talia is taking Advanced Music Theory and is active in the Academy theatre program. She has previously been seen as the Lady Larken in Once Upon a Mattress and Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance. Outside of school, she takes voice lessons at Jacqueline Zander-Wall’s studio and sings in the St. Mark’s Episcopal Church choir.
As a YoungArts award winner, Talia joins a distinguished group of accomplished artists such as Daniel Arsham, Terence Blanchard, Camille A. Brown, Timothée Chalamet, Viola Davis, Amanda Gorman, Judith Hill, Jennifer Koh, Tarell Alvin McCraney, Andrew Rannells, Desmond Richardson and Hunter Schafer.
