WAYS TO GIVE

Giving Incentives and Challenges

Dion’s Pizza Party: The sixth grade won the Dion’s pizza party with a parent participation rate of 18.5%. Ninth grade was a close second with 18.3%. Thank you to all of the parents who made a donation within the 24-hour period. Thank you also to Mark Herman, CEO of Dion’s and Academy Class of 1987, for donating the pizza.

Alumni Brick Winners: Congratulations to the Class of 1960 and the Class of 1989 for having the highest Spring Day of Giving participation rates of 33% and 18% respectively. Members of these two classes may pick up their original Path brick engraved with the school logo and their class year on campus between May 15 and October 31, 2023. Please email alumni@aa.edu to coordinate your visit to campus.

Match Challenges: Our various match challenges helped us unlock $23,040 toward the overall dollars raised. Thank you to our Board of Trustees, alumni, and faculty and staff for your demonstrated leadership to this cause and commitment to Albuquerque Academy.

Faculty and Staff: Thank you for the spirited involvement and contributions of our faculty and staff. Ninety-three employees donated as a part of the Spring Day of Giving 24-hour time frame, which calculated to a 29% participation rate. There were 17 new donors, which increased the overall FY23 faculty/staff participation rate from 44% to 49%.

Senior Class Brick Donations: As a part of the Spring Day of Giving campaign, $15,650 was raised from 41 gifts made in honor of a senior. Thank you for your contributions to the Academy Fund! We are thrilled that many seniors will now own a piece of history from the original Path. The advancement office will be in contact with the seniors (and donors) when the bricks have been engraved and are ready for pick up. Please note this may not be until after graduation. Please contact Cristina Archibeque at (505) 828-3314 or archibeque@aa.edu if you have any questions.
