Albuquerque Academy Fund
The Albuquerque Academy Fund provides an opportunity for all members and friends of the school to secure the continued quality of an Academy education. Each year the Academy Fund raises money critical to balancing the school’s operating budget for maintain quality programming. Participation serves as an expression of confidence and appreciation for the school and a recognition of the specialness of the Academy. The number of participants grows the fund much more effectively than the size of each gift. The fund benefits every facet of the school’s operation. Donors have the opportunity to indicate an area of impact when making their gift, including:
- Financial Assistance: Gifts support a key aspect of the school’s mission. We provide 21% of our students with financial assistance totaling nearly $5 million.
- Student Life: Gifts provide unique and unforgettable school experiences through our 22 visual arts courses, 42 performing arts courses, 50 athletic teams, seven global languages, and more than 60 clubs. The Experiential Education department provides students access to outdoor education, community and global citizenship, and sustainability education programming.
- Computing Initiatives: The newly launched computing department offers a series of courses and experiences in using technology, data analysis, and computation to think about issues across disciplines in all divisions, including CyberChargers (6-12), Coding Club (6-7), and VEX Robotics (8-9).
