Capital Projects
From the tree-lined path that connects east and west campuses to the natatorium, campus gardens, and cross country course, Albuquerque Academy’s 312-acre campus is truly an urban oasis. The campus enables students to learn in a safe, peaceful, and relaxed environment.
- Harper Stadium Initiative: Gifts support renovating and enhancing our football/soccer/track stadium. Donors who give $15,000 or more will be recognized on a commemorative plaque in the updated Harper Stadium Complex. Learn more about this $1 million initiative, which has funding components for the track ($475,000), stadium lights ($250,000), the Chargers Center ($200,000), and a new scoreboard ($75,000).
- Bike Park: Mountain biking is one of the most popular courses taught by the Ex Ed department. Space formerly occupied by the alpine town is being converted into a new bike park, comprised of bumps and berms, jumps and table-tops, flow trails, and structures to practice the technical skills used in mountain biking. Click here to learn more about this initiative, with a funding goal of $30,000.
- Campus Beautification: Gifts for campus beautification help maintain our 312-acre campus and make physical plant enhancements possible so students can learn in an environment that provides athletic facilities, performance spaces, labs, and classrooms to accommodate the varying interests of our student body.
