        • We believe that children's lives change when their natural passion for learning is nurtured and transformed into habits of life-long learning and reflection. We believe that the world changes as these children learn to serve country and community with wisdom, conviction, and compassion.

Volunteers

Volunteers help garner enthusiasm among the Academy community for the activities of the development and alumni programs, which serve the mission of Albuquerque Academy by building and perpetuating a community of support among its stakeholders and working with donors to help them understand the opportunities for partnership with the school. Volunteers help us join together with our Charger community and find meaningful and fun ways to engage parents, alumni, and grandparents in the life of our school.

Our volunteers help with event support, such as GrandDays, homecoming, and class reunions;  generate outreach ideas; provide useful feedback; and promote giving opportunities, such as Chargers Giving Back Day and Giving TuesdAAy. They help encourage the importance of supporting the school philanthropically and are wonderful ambassadors within the Academy community for messaging how fundraising and outreach activities impact Academy alumni, students and programs.

Parents are invited to volunteer as part of the Annual Giving Steering Committee and alumni serve on our Alumni Council. We would love to hear from you if you are interested in becoming a volunteer!
