Twenty-two students in grades 6 through 9 competed in the Central Regional Science Olympiad competition held at the University of New Mexico on Saturday, February 1, 2014. Competing in 21 of the 22 events offered, Albuquerque Academy students won 64 individual medals, as well as a second place trophy. The top 5 scoring teams now move on to state competition, which will be held on Saturday, February 22 at New Mexico Tech in Socorro.
