Albuquerque Academy’s Varsity Mock Trial Team took first place in the New Mexico regional competition on February 21-22. The team now moves on to compete in the state competition in four weeks. The following three teams competed and placed in a field of 30:
Red Team — 14th Place: Adam Foster ’18, Sean Jahner ’18, Willow LeTard ’19, Ethan Ross ’18, Jorge Perez ’17, Wesley Pick-Roth ’17, and Sonia Roth(coach)
White Team — 12th Place: Sarah Gallant ’18, Shivaani Gardner ’17, Jenny Lee ’17, Rosa Sun ’17, Josiah Williams ’18, Eliana Yatskowitz ’18, and Cindy Stofberg (coach)
Black Team — 1st Place: Lillian Dineen ’16, Samsara Durvasula ’16, Clint Ewell ’14, Jack Keller ’16, Raffaele Moore ’17, Madeleine Stockton ’14, and Joaquin Sanchez ’95 (coach)
