Alex McLaughlin, Gabriel Sandoval, Kevin Xue, and Akshay Warrier participated in RoboRave — an international robotics competition. The team took first place in the Middle School Jousting Challenge and in the Middle School Engineering Report, and second place in the Middle School Video.
Alex McLaughlin, Gabriel Sandoval, Kevin Xue, and Akshay Warrier participated in RoboRave — an international robotics competition held May 1-3, 2014 at the Albuquerque Convention Center. The team took first place in the Middle School Jousting Challenge and in the Middle School Engineering Report (for which the team had to write a paper on the engineering of its robot). The team also took second place in the Middle School Video. These four Albuquerque Academy seventh grade students worked on this project outside of school for several months.
