The work of the new Environment Committee will focus on studying political, social, technological, economic, demographic, and other global trends to provide insights and vision to NAIS on how these trends will impact schools.
Speaking of his appointment, Mr. Watson said, “The NAIS has always been on the cutting edge of research and support for the nation’s independent schools, and, thus, for education in general. Adding the Environment Committee to the association’s work, amidst such change in our world, will continue this tradition. I’m honored to lead this committee, and I hope to make a difference for both NAIS and students here in New Mexico as we begin our work.”
