Baseball
After a great season and winning District, varsity baseball captured the State title defeating teams from Belen, Valencia, Artesia, and Goddard.

Boys Golf
The team placed second in District and won the State title. Ben Albin ’15 took first place with an individual round of 141.

Girls Golf
The team won District and State titles. Katie Allen ’18took first place with an individual round of 149.

Boys Tennis
Following an impressive District win, the team went on to capture the State title — for the thirteenth consecutive year! According to the NMAA web site, boys varsity tennis has won the State championship since 1998, except for 2002. That’s 17 State championship titles in 18 years!
The Hootman twins, Coleton ’19 and Hunter ’19, won doubles in the individual State competition.
Placing at State in singles competition were Henry Collis ’16 (2nd), Jack Apodaca ’16 (3rd), and Abraham Yohannes ’19 (4th). Jack Keller ’16/Mason Caldwell ’15 placed 2nd in doubles.

Girls Tennis
The girls team had an equally impressive District win and came in second place at State. Individual titles at State went to Melissa Pick ’16 in singles and Stacy Pollack ’15/Dani Apodaca ’16 in doubles.

Boys Track
The team won District and State Championships.
Individual State medals were awarded to:
Nick Slade ’15, 1st Place in Long Jump (22’7.75″) and 110 Hurdles (15.03); 2nd Place in Triple Jump (43’4.5″); 3rd Place in 300 Hurdles (40.28). These four achievements earned Nick the individual high points award (23).
Jackson Morris ’17, 1st Place in Javelin (170’1″), Shot Put (46’1.25″), and Discus (154’2″). Earlier in the season, Jackson set a new school record in discus with the mark of 166’4″ at the Albuquerque Invite.
Matt Blumenschein ’16, 3rd Place in Long Jump (22’1.75″).
Justin Ludwig ’15, 6th Place in Discus (125’9″).
Jordan Lesansee ’17, 1st Place in the 3200 (9:28.01) and 2nd Place in the 1600 (4:24.68).
AJ Kedge ’18, 6th Place in 3200 (9:57.84).
The 1600 Medley Relay team comprising Matt Blumenschein ’16, Joe Greer ’17, Aric Kedge ’17, and Cody Bratzler ’16 came in 6th Place (3:42.60).

The team placed third at District and tied for ninth with Artesia at State.
Individual State awards were awarded to:
First Place went to the 1600 Medley Relay team comprising Mikaela Torres ’15, Jacqueline Sanchez ’16, Lane Cooper ’16, and Erin Archibeck ’16(4:19.47).
The 4×400 Relay team comprising Isabel Gallegos ’18, Grace Alley ’19, Mikaela Torres, and Lane Coopercame in 3rd Place (4:09.73).
Erin Archibeck ’16, 2nd Place in the 800 (2:23.25).
Celeste Martinez ’19, 5th Place in the 1600 (5:30.33).
Mikaela Torres, 5th Place in the 100 (13.04).
