Four Visual Arts students were juried into the Site Santa Fe Young Curator’s exhibit, Pick, an informative and creative discussion of consumerism.
The exhibit is a commentary on the consequences of the lifestyle of first-world consumers. It explores the adverse effects of consumerism on the environment and on first and third-world communities.
The show will run through June 2 at the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum Education Annex in Santa Fe.

In addition to these works of art, Isabel Collins ‘18participated as a Young Curator this year. The Young Curators is the only program of its kind in New Mexico. It teaches high school students the curatorial side of the art experience, providing alternative ways for teens to connect with art while giving them a glimpse of possibilities within museum careers.
