Ale Geisel-Zamora ’19 Awarded Superior Writing Award in the 2018 NCTE Writing Competition

Albuquerque Academy junior Ale Geisel-Zamora has been awarded a superior writing award in the 2018 National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) writing competition. The purpose of this competition is to encourage high school juniors to write and to publicly acknowledge the best student writers. The student’s pieces are judged based on the expression of ideas, language use, and unique perspective and voice.

This year 461 juniors were nominated for awards and 231 received certificates of nomination.
