The Albuquerque Academy Red Mock Trial team won the State Mock Trial Tournament in early March. A first for Albuquerque Academy Mock Trial, the championship round of the tournament was between Albuquerque Academy Red team and Albuquerque Academy Black team.
“Albuquerque Red is the youngest team ever to compete in, and win, a state championship,” said Coach Joaquin Sanchez.
Their State tournament win qualifies the Red Team for the National High School Mock Trial Championship this May in Athens, Georgia.

At the banquet, Stella and Raajvi were both recognized as “Outstanding Attorneys” and Andrew was recognized as an “Outstanding Witness.”
