Dozens of Academy students have had their artwork recognized by the jury for the regional Scholastic Art competition. Judging was based on three criteria: originality, technique, and emergence of a personal vision or voice.
Works that received a gold key will advance to the national level and be reviewed in New York City; winners of the national competition will be announced in March.
