Albuquerque Academy’s three mock trials teams are among the 16 to advance to state following their performances at the New Mexico Mock Trial State Qualifier competition.
Academy Black finished in 1st place with a 4-0 record, defeating teams from Cottonwood Classical, Pojoaque, Bosque, and Centennial High School.

Academy Red finished in 6th place, with a 3-1 record, their only loss going to perennial powerhouse Volcano Vista. Following that first-round loss, they went on a nice 3-0 winning streak.

Academy White finished in 8th place with a 3-1 record. This young team of 8th and 9th graders faced only lost one round to the eventual 2nd-place team, Volcano Vista. They defeated the eventual 3rd-place place team from Manzano High School in the first round and the varsity team from Bosque in the final round.
