2023 REGIONAL SCHOLASTIC WRITING AWARDS
Several Academy students were honored as the regional winners of the 2023 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. The awards help identify students with exceptional literary talent and give students opportunities for recognition, exhibition, publication, and scholarships. Students in grades 7-12 nationwide entered works in 11 different writing categories.

NATIONAL COUNCIL OF ENGLISH TEACHERS ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS IN WRITING
Schools nominated 360 students in their sophomore or junior year to participate in the Achievement Awards in Writing Program. National judges evaluated each piece of writing for expression of ideas, language use, and unique perspective and voice. Two Academy students were selected to receive First Class honors, the highest distinction – Evan Chang ’25 and Jack Yu ’25.
