Several Albuquerque Academy students were recognized for their performance on this year’s National Latin Exam.

Intermediate Latin
Audrey Finkelstein ’27 earned a Gold Medal and Summa Cum Laude honors for the third year in a row. “Audrey’s achievement is especially notable because she has worked independently with me for one hour a week, 52 weeks a year over three years,” said Latin teacher Hugh Himwich.

Latin I
Emerys Bendt ’26 and Alexandra Raskin ’25 each received a Gold Medal and Summa Cum Laude honors, missing only one question on a particularly challenging version of the exam. Wyatt Bryniarski ’26 and Ada Ovitt ’25 earned honorable mentions for their solid results.
