Aarush Tutiki ’26 received top-five recognition for his oral presentation of his work at the 42nd annual Research Science Institute June 22-August 2, sponsored in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
The institute consisted of one week of theoretical classroom work, followed by 4 1/2 weeks of innovative research under the mentorship of leading scientists, engineers, and researchers. In their final week, students demonstrate their research work through written academic papers and oral presentations to their peers and a panel of judges.
Participants — 100 of the world’s most accomplished high school students — experience the entire research cycle from start to finish. They read current literature in their field, execute a detailed research plan, and deliver conference-style oral and written reports on their findings.
