Victor Wu ’15, Grace Su ’15, Julia Lu ’14, Alex Prossnitz ’13, Jason Liou ’13, and Ria Mazumdar ’15 participated in the National Forensic League Speech and Debate National Championships in Birmingham, Alabama, June 16-21. This tournament draws thousands of students from over 100 districts nationally, and students must place among the top competitors in their district to attend. Albuquerque Academy was also a top contender this year for the Bruno E. Jacob / Pi Kappa Delta trophy, an award given to schools that have won the greatest cumulative number of rounds in the National Tournament. The Academy is ranked #6 in the nation for this award, with 1,458 rounds to date.
