Ben Albin ’15, Anika Apostalon ’13, and Melissa Pick ’16 have been selected by the Albuquerque Journal as 2012-2013 Metro Athletes of the Year for Boys’ Golf, Girls’ Swimming/Diving, and Girls’ Tennis, respectively.
Ben Albin ’15, Anika Apostalon ’13, and Melissa Pick ’16 have been selected by the Albuquerque Journal as 2012-2013 Metro Athletes of the Year for Boys’ Golf, Girls’ Swimming/Diving, and Girls’ Tennis, respectively.
Ben Albin, considered to be the most consistent boys golfer was runner-up at the Albuquerque Metro Championships as well as the Class 4A State Championship, where he had six straight birdies.
Anika Apostalon set a pair of state records in the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke.
Melissa Pick is a two-time state champion and was undefeated in 2013.
