New Mexicans can view select artwork by Academy students in downtown Albuquerque’s Windows of Youth exhibit, part of a statewide project called Windows into the Future.
“The space we were selected for is a great location in downtown Albuquerque — the southwest corner of 1st and Gold,” says visual arts teacher Peter Glidden. Click here to watch Mr. Glidden’s brief tour.
Windows on the Future will run throughout the month of July across Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and Taos, New Mexico. The collaborative effort brings vibrancy and vitality to central and northern New Mexico’s commercial districts while still encouraging social distancing. Following a jury process to review the 200 submissions, 60 artists were selected – 20 installations per city.
