Albuquerque Academy’s Classical Guitar Quartet was recently invited to perform at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
According to Performing Arts faculty member Mickey Jones, the invitation came from the head of the conservatory guitar program, David Tannenbaum, who has admired Academy students very much over the years for their obvious talents, intellectual rigor, and willingness to take creative risks.

In addition to this performance, the quartet attended a master class and two performances by renowned classical guitarist Kazuhito Yamashita.
Congratulations Leah Hurwitz ’17, Bryce Gordon ’16, Max Shaffer ’16, and Jack Keller ’16.
