Albuquerque Academy students made an impressive showing in the writing portion of the 2016 Southwest Region Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Thirteen students received a combined 25 awards, and most submitted several pieces of writing in a variety of genres (listed below).
Established in 1923, the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is the nation’s largest, longest-running, most prestigious visual and literary arts program symbolizing excellence and recognizing accomplishments of students in grades 7-12.
