Racquet Center

Offered as part of the Academy’s ongoing commitment to providing service and outreach to its students and the community at large, the Albuquerque Academy Racquet Center encompasses a comprehensive tennis program in a beautiful, newly refreshed facility that includes 14 tennis and eight pickleball courts. It was named a 2025 USTA Outstanding Facility by the United States Tennis Association.

The Racquet Center is a USTA member organization. We provide year-round recreational and competitive racquet sports programming, offering exceptional athlete-centered coaching and instruction focused on the fundamentals of athletic, technical, and tactical elements of learning racquet sports for all ages and abilities.

Our offerings include age-group instruction as well as a competitive junior team competition in the summer and Beyond the Baseline, an NJTL program for underserved and underrepresented youth in our community. All coaches on staff are certified in tennis and/or pickleball and have more than 75 years of award-winning experience coaching students at all levels, from novice to high school champions and nationally ranked players. Our goals are to make the Racquet Center experience enjoyable for players of all ages and skill levels and to help the athletes we coach reach their highest potential. Make a gift to support Beyond the Baseline.
